Palm City Elementary School is being recognized for its continued commitment to academic excellence, earning recognition through the Florida School Recognition Program for the 2026-27 school year.
The prestigious Florida School Recognition Program honors schools that demonstrate sustained academic success or significant improvement in student performance. Schools are eligible for recognition by earning an โAโ grade, improving at least one letter grade, or meeting other state-established performance criteria.
Palm City Elementary School earned recognition by achieving an โAโ rating, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence demonstrated by our students, teachers, school leaders, and families.
The financial award is based on the schoolโs full-time equivalent student enrollment and will support continued efforts to foster student achievement and success.
โSeeing our schools recognized for their academic achievement is something we are incredibly proud of,โ Superintendent Michael Maine said. โThese awards represent the hard work of our students, teachers, school leaders, and families, and the commitment to excellence they bring to our schools every day. This recognition reflects the strength of our schools and the dedication of the people across our District who continue to raise the bar for our students.โ
This recognition adds to an already remarkable year of achievement for the Martin County School District, which earned an A rating for the second consecutive year and recorded its highest accountability score in District history. Palm City Elementary is proud to be part of this continued academic progress and remains committed to providing students with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
At Palm City Elementary, we celebrate this achievement as a reflection of our school communityโs dedication to helping every student reach their full potential. Together, we will continue building on this success because at Palm City Elementary, excellence is a team effort!
