The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation announced its 2023 Cooke College Scholars, and the Martin County School District is proud to share that one South Fork High School senior was named as a recipient!
Matthew Nunez was chosen from a pool of more than 5,600 applicants from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
Cooke College Scholars receive up to $55,000 annually for up to four years to attend the college or university of their choice, in addition to comprehensive advising and other program support.
Matthew plans to attend the University of Chicago with the hopes of one day becoming an Astrobiologist.Congratulations, Matthew!
