The Martin County School Board approved the appointment of two leadership positions for South Fork High School during its regular board meeting on Dec. 19, 2023.
Ms. Jaime Thompson, the current Interim Principal of SFHS, has officially been named the Principal of South Fork High School.
Ms. Thompson has been an educator for 21 years, 18 of which have been with the Martin County School District. Ms. Thompson began her education career teaching English and literacy before transitioning into a leadership role as Assistant Principal at Jensen Beach High School, her most recent assignment before transferring to South Fork High School.
Ms. Stacy Reese, who was selected to fill in as Interim Assistant Principal for Ms. Thompson, is now the Assistant Principal of South Fork High School.
Ms. Reese has been an educator for 20 years. Prior to joining the administrative team at SFHS, she was an Assistant Principal at Jensen Beach High School. Ms. Reese has also served as the Dean of Students in the Franklin County School System (FL) and Director of Alternative Education in the Gainesville City School District (GA).
