The Martin County School Board has proclaimed November as Veterans Month in the Martin County School District, honoring the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The proclamation recognizes that veterans have selflessly defended the freedoms and ideals upon which our nation was founded, demonstrating extraordinary bravery both in times of conflict and peace.

“The students, staff, and community of the Martin County School District are committed to honoring the contributions and sacrifices of all military veterans,” the proclamation reads. “By recognizing and honoring our veterans, we inspire future generations to appreciate the importance of civic responsibility, service to others, and respect for the freedoms we hold dear.”

The proclamation reaffirms the District’s deep appreciation for those who have served and continue to serve our nation with honor.
