South Fork High School is proud to celebrate IB junior Bianca Bernhard, who earned First Place in the High School Category at the Youth Driven Cinema Film Festival, hosted by the Inwater Research Group.

The festival, themed “Your Voice. Your Planet. Your Legacy,” invites K–12 students from across Martin and St. Lucie counties to create original films that highlight environmental awareness and inspire positive change.

Bianca’s award-winning film stood out among a competitive field of young filmmakers, demonstrating both creativity and a powerful message. Her work reflects the mission of the festival—to amplify student voices and encourage the next generation to engage with important environmental issues through storytelling.

The event, held at The Lyric Theatre in Stuart, brought together students, educators, and community organizations dedicated to conservation and education. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their films on the big screen and be recognized for their achievements.

Bianca’s success is a testament to her talent, dedication, and passion for making an impact through film. Her accomplishment also highlights the strength of South Fork High School’s commitment to supporting student creativity and innovation.

We congratulate Bianca on this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing what she creates next.
