future ready celebration

South Fork High School proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its Career and Technical Education students during the annual Future Ready Ceremony held on May 5, 2026, in the SFHS Auditorium.

The evening recognized students across a variety of CTE pathways for their hard work, dedication, certifications, scholarships, leadership, and career readiness accomplishments. Families, staff, and community members gathered to honor students who have demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and through hands-on career preparation.

The ceremony began with welcome remarks from CTE Specialist Blake Hicks and Principal Jaime Thompson, followed by the Presentation of Colors by the SFHS Army JROTC program.

Students from numerous academies and pathways were recognized throughout the evening, including:

  • AVID

  • Army JROTC

  • Agri-Technology

  • Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, & Heating Technology

  • Automotive and Marine Technology

  • Building Construction

  • Communications Technology

  • Digital Video Production

  • Landscape & Turfgrass Management

  • Medical Sciences

  • Veterinary Assisting

  • Entrepreneurship and Small Business Rapid Certification

The ceremony also celebrated recipients of the Pathfinders Franklin Vocational Grant Scholarship, AA Degree recipients, and Students of the Year from multiple programs.

Throughout the evening, students were recognized for earning industry certifications, completing rigorous technical coursework, and developing the skills needed to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. Many students were also honored with cords, stoles, and certificates representing their achievements and dedication to their chosen pathways.

The Future Ready Ceremony highlighted South Fork High School’s commitment to preparing students for success through meaningful, real-world learning experiences and career-focused opportunities.
