The Martin County School District celebrated a big win for future readiness after earning the MVP Trophy in the 2025-2026 Florida FAFSA Challenge!
The District’s completion rate for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, increased by 4.8 percent, making Martin County the top-performing District on the Treasure Coast. FAFSA connects students with grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and other resources for life after graduation.
South Fork High School AVID teacher Jennifer Morreale received a special surprise recognizing her leadership in helping students navigate the FAFSA process and plan for their futures.
The achievement was made possible through the work of MCSD, the Education Foundation of Martin County, EFMC Career Champions, community partners and school, District, and foundation staff. The effort was supported by the Consortium’s Building College & Career Readiness Cultures in Martin County grant.
