The Martin County School Board approved Mr. Tim Aitken's appointment as the new principal of South Fork High School during its meeting on May 17, 2022.  Former principal Jay Blavatt has been named the new principal of Willoughby Learning Center

Mr.  Aitken has served as an educator and school administrator for 15 years, including most recently as the principal of Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School.  He brings a wealth of experience in school improvement planning,  relationship building, instructional leadership, data analysis, curriculum integrations and recruitment/hiring.

Mr. Aitken earned his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Wesley College and his graduate degree in Educational Leadership & Policy from Shippensburg University.  He plans to complete his doctoral studies in Educational Leadership & Policy this year.  Mr. Aitken is a huge fan of both the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Yankees.  He enjoys traveling to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.
