Warfield Elementary School welcomed students and families back to campus with new teachers to meet, familiar faces to see, and a special gift for every Warrior.
During the school's Meet the Teacher event, The Garcia Companies distributed nearly 800 new backpacks filled with pencils, notebooks, markers, and other supplies requested by Warfield teachers. With approximately 760 students enrolled, every child received a backpack with what they needed to start the 2026-2027 school year.
The effort began more than a month before students arrived. Employees gathered the supplies and joined community volunteers at the historic Seminole Inn in Indiantown to assemble each backpack by hand.
The donation checked one more item off families' back-to-school lists while adding plenty of smiles to an already exciting day. Students left campus after meeting their teachers with their new backpacks in hand and the first day of school just ahead.
This is the second year The Garcia Companies has provided backpacks and school supplies for Warfield students.
