College Student Placement and Clearance Process

The Martin County School District must have a valid affiliation agreement with a university prior to allowing a college student to be in our schools to complete an internship or observation hours.

Additional Information:

  • The Martin County School District does not accept completed background results from other organizations or counties.

  • All students are responsible for paying for their own background check.

  • A $6 background retention fee will also be charged in order for the Martin County School District to retain your fingerprints on file for an additional year (two years total).
