School Meal Information

FNS Graphic

  1. What will the school meal program look like this school year?
Due to the expiration of a federal waiver, the District will no longer be able to offer free meals to all students this school year. Families are encouraged to apply for free and reduced-price meal benefits on our website or via a paper form available from their child's school. Students attending the following schools will continue to receive free breakfasts and lunches with no income restrictions: J.D. Parker Elementary School, Pinewood Elementary School, Port Salerno Elementary School, Warfield Elementary School, Indiantown Middle School, Willoughby Learning Center and Spectrum Academy.

For the schools not listed above, MCSD will cover the costs of meals for all students for the first three days of school (August 10-12). After August 12, the regular price for breakfast for K-5 and 6-12 students is $1.50. Lunch for K-5 is $1.85, and 6-12 is $2.10. The District will cover the cost of meals for students who apply and qualify for reduced-price meals

  2. May I pay for my child's meals online? Yes.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to skip cash and pay student meals online via myschoolbucks.com. Money previously submitted through K12PaymentCenter has been transferred over to students' new accounts in MySchoolBucks. All student charges/negative balances for breakfasts and lunches have been cleared, meaning all students will begin the school year free of balances on their accounts.

School Supply Lists

UWMC Tools for Success

For the past few years, thousands of Martin County students have started a new year of school with necessary supplies thanks to United Way of Martin County's Tools for Success initiative. This year, United Way of Martin County will provide many elementary students with the most needed supplies for the school year. Middle and high schools will be provided with supplementary supplies for students. Please review the supply lists below to view additional ways you can help support your child's learning this school year.
