AI Teacher Leaders

The Martin County School District’s Professional Learning team recently hosted a celebration recognizing the inaugural cohort of AI Teacher Leader Ambassadors—educators who spent the school year exploring and implementing emerging education-related artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance classroom teaching and student engagement.

The event, which featured an “AI Battle Royale,”—a showdown between the different AI programs—allowed ambassadors to share the specific tools they championed throughout the year, making their case for how those tools improved instruction. From Microsoft Copilot and Canva to Diffit and SchoolAI, teachers highlighted the platforms that helped make learning more personalized, efficient and creative for students across all grade levels and subject areas.

The AI Teacher Leader Ambassador program is just one of the ways the Martin County School District is educating all students for success by preparing them for their future. By giving teachers access to innovative tools that support creativity, problem-solving, and personalized learning, we’re helping students build the skills and confidence they’ll need to thrive in a world where technology is always changing.
