A-Rated School District

The Florida Department of Education has released the 2025 school and district grades, and the Martin County School District is proud to announce it has officially regained its "A" rating, a distinction that reinforces its reputation as the premier public school district on the Treasure Coast.

This designation is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, and staff, who have tirelessly elevated academic performance and fostered student success throughout the District.

“We’re incredibly proud of this moment,” Superintendent Michael Maine shared. “It speaks volumes about the incredible dedication of our teachers, the hard work of our students, and the strength of our community’s support. Earning back our 'A' rating isn’t just a letter. It’s a reflection of our values, our drive to be the best school district in the state, and our unwavering belief that every student in the Martin County School District deserves the highest quality education.”

In addition to earning an A as a District, ALL MCSD schools earned a grade of "C" or higher for the 2024–2025 school year. Several schools made notable gains in their school grades:

  • Crystal Lake Elementary School: "B" to an "A"

  • Warfield Elementary School: "D" to a "C"

  • Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School: "C" to a "B"

  • Indiantown Middle School: "C" to a "B"

  • Murray Middle School: "C" to a "B"

  • Jensen Beach High School: "B" to an "A"

This recognition comes on the heels of impressive student gains on Florida’s spring 2025 statewide assessments. As previously shared, MCSD students outperformed the state average in key subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Civics, and Writing. The District also achieved the highest proficiency rates in Algebra, Geometry, Civics, and Writing when compared to neighboring counties.

Martin County has long been the choice of families and educators who seek more than temporary success—they seek a tradition of excellence and proven results. That’s a destination worth choosing—again and again.
