Student artists from Martin County High School earned 40 awards in the 2026 Regional Scholastic Art Awards for Region-at-Large South Art counties, including multiple Gold Key honors that advance to national competition.
The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards recognize creative excellence among students in grades 7–12 and are among the nation’s longest‑running and most prestigious arts competitions. Martin County High School students earned Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention awards across photography, drawing, painting, and digital art.
Six students received Gold Key Awards, the program’s highest regional honor, for outstanding work in photography and drawing. Gold Key recipients include Lily Carter, Sueanna Doris‑Capra, Charlotte Hannah, Ella Smith, Kaitlyn Sperco, and Sobner Termilus. Their work advances to the national Scholastic Art Awards competition, with national medalists to be announced in March 2026.
