Student artists from across the Martin County School District were recognized during the annual Kids Tag Art awards ceremony on April 14, 2026, celebrating creativity, artistic achievement, and community involvement.

The event honored elementary students whose original vanity license plate designs were selected for special recognition through the Kids Tag Art program, a partnership between the Martin County Tax Collector’s Office, MartinArts, and the Martin County School District.

This year’s ceremony featured special guest speaker MaryLynn Magar of the Florida State Board of Education, who encouraged students to continue exploring their creativity and talents.

“Some of today’s artists will be tomorrow’s engineers, designers and entrepreneurs,” Magar said. “It all starts with art.”

In addition to recognizing the students’ artwork, the ceremony highlighted the program’s ongoing support of elementary school art education through proceeds generated from tag sales and sponsorships. All designs are available for purchase as vanity license plates, bike plates or key chains here: https://martintaxcollector.com/other-services/kids-tag-art/
