Glow-in-the-dark art work SeaWind students created on the ecosystem of the Everglades

Students and families at SeaWind Elementary School experienced hands-on learning during the school’s annual STREAM Night, where science, technology, reading, engineering, art and mathematics came to life through interactive exhibits and student projects.

The event featured student science fair projects, live animal encounters and interactive displays from community partners, including wildlife and environmental organizations. Representatives from the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, Hobe Sound Nature Center, the Environmental Studies Center and Inwater Research Group helped students explore Florida’s ecosystems through engaging, hands-on experiences.

A highlight of the evening was SeaWind’s glow-in-the-dark art show, where students learned about native wildlife, habitats and the importance of protecting Florida’s unique ecosystem.

As Martin County’s Leadership Academy, SeaWind Elementary encourages students to learn, lead and serve through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Events like STREAM Night help students build leadership skills, explore their interests and make real-world connections through science, art and community partnerships.
