During its Special (TRIM) Meeting held on July 28, 2026, the Martin County School Board adopted the District's tentative budget for fiscal year 2026-2027. The budget totals $551,044,202.
The School Board also adopted a tentative millage rate of 4.8770, a decrease of 0.3000 mills from the 2025-2026 adopted rate. The proposed rate is 12.93% lower than last year's adopted millage rate and 2.16% lower than the rollback rate.
This hearing represents the first of two public hearings required as part of Florida's annual Truth in Millage (TRIM) process. The School Board will hold a second public hearing in September before taking final action on both the budget and millage rate for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
