Before welcoming students into their classrooms this school year, nearly 100 educators new to the Martin County School District spent July 27-29 building connections, exploring instructional resources, and preparing for a successful start to the school year during the New Educator Orientation (NEO). Superintendent Michael Maine welcomed the newest members of Team MCSD as they began their journey in a district where Martin Means More.
The annual event introduces teachers to District leaders, support staff, instructional expectations, and Martin Mentors while helping them build relationships with colleagues from across the District. Through collaborative learning, professional development, and mentorship, educators leave with the tools and confidence to provide excellence for every student from day one.
