During its Special TRIM meeting held on September 8, 2026, the Martin County School Board adopted the District’s final budget for fiscal year 2026-2027. The approved budget is $562,394,198. The budget includes $238,066,298 for the District’s General Fund, which covers operational costs (including employee salaries and benefits, curriculum materials and utilities), and $186,427,107 for Capital Projects, which supports the acquisition or construction of facilities and improvements to existing facilities.
During the final TRIM hearing, the Martin County School Board also authorized a total millage rate of 4.8770, which is 2.16% lower than the rollback rate. The adopted millage rate is also 12.93% lower than the 2025-2026 rate of 5.1770.
