During its Special (TRIM) meeting held September 9, 2021, the Martin County School Board adopted the District's final budget for fiscal year 2021-2022. The approved budget is $489.4M. The budget includes $221.5M for the District’s General Fund, which covers operational costs (including employee salaries and benefits, curriculum materials and utilities) and $220.6M for the Capital Projects budget (for acquisition or construction of facilities and improvements to existing facilities).
A resolution adopted by the School Board levies a total millage rate of 6.3230 mils. This tax rate is 0.124 mills less than the prior year.
