Each year, School Board Chair Christia Li Roberts (District 1) treats a group of voracious readers from Indiantown Middle School to lunch. Students chat about the books they've read over the school year while enjoying a delicious meal at the Village of Indiantown's historic Seminole Inn.
When asked what advice she would give to her peers who might be looking to grow as readers, student Maria Solis had the perfect answer - "Stay focused in school, and never give up on your dreams."
