Sophia Norris, Student Representative

Martin County High School senior Sophia Norris has been selected as the Martin County School Board's Student Representative for the 2022-2023 school year.

Sophia is enrolled in MCHS's Cambridge Assessment International Education AICE program and will earn this prestigious diploma in May. She is also a member of the school's Medical Academy and will earn her CNA certification later this year. Sophia serves as Senior Class President, a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), President of the Leadership Class, a member of Mu Alpha Theta (national math honor society), a Varsity soccer player, youth leader at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, and member of the Fellowship Christian Athletes. She has worked as a nanny for elementary-aged children in our community, as a math tutor for middle school students, as a Teen Advisory Board (TAB) member for the Martin County Board of County Commissioners, and as a student fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of South Florida.

We look forward to having Sophia share the great news and information coming from our three high schools during each monthly School Board meeting. Congratulations, Sophia!
