For the second consecutive year, Superintendent John D. Millay and the Martin County School District's (MCSD) Professional Development team hosted Back-to-School Convocation for all employees!
Convocation helps Team MCSD celebrate the start of each new school year, highlighting the "why" behind everything we do - the success of ALL students!
The day was filled with excellent performances from talented students, including Martin County High School's drum line and Air Force JROTC, Murray Middle School’s Choir and the Bucket Drummers of Bessey Creek Elementary School.
Staff left the day inspired by a few amazing motivational speakers, including Logan Jordan (a Jensen Beach High School senior), Jose Francisco (a member of South Fork High School's Class of 2022), Jamie Thompson (Assistant Principal at South Fork High School) and Dr. Jim Van Allan of Van Allan Communications (a motivational speaker and MCSD parent).
