The Martin County School District is expanding opportunities for students through the launch of Martin County Flexible Education, a new initiative that provides additional pathways for students to access the premier, A-rated education our schools are known for.
Martin County Flexible Education is designed to meet the diverse needs of today's learners by offering flexible in-person and online learning opportunities while maintaining the same commitment to academic excellence and student success found throughout the District.

In-Person Learning Options
Homeschool students and families participating in eligible Florida Choice Scholarship programs may enroll in individual courses offered at Martin County School District schools, as space allows. Course offerings include a wide range of subjects, from core academics and fine arts to Career and Technical Education (CTE) and other specialized learning opportunities.
Virtual Learning Options
Students in grades 6-12 can access flexible virtual learning through Martin County Virtual School. Courses are taught by MCSD educators using the Florida Virtual School curriculum and provide students with the added benefit of local teacher support, with in-person assistance available.
Current Martin County School District students can utilize Martin County Virtual School for opportunities such as acceleration and course recovery, while homeschool and Florida Choice Scholarship students may supplement their current educational program through individual virtual courses. Courses include English, Math, Social Studies and Career and Technical Education.
