Starts with Hello

Starting on Monday, September 27th,  we will be celebrating Start With Hello Week, a youth prevention program created by the Sandy Hook Promise, that schools all around the U.S. have joined in to celebrate for the month of September. This week focuses on promoting inclusion and kindness for all students. Our teachers will be facilitating enriching discussions with students during this week about inclusion and kindness while challenging students to engage positively with their peers. How CGE parents can show participation for this week is by encouraging their child to wear the theme color shirt for each day (see photo) and following up with them each day on how their day went. As a part of our School Improvement Plan (SIP), we hope that this week will be effective and meaningful to all.  Thank you to our Guidance Counselor, Ms. Bookall, for coordinating this event for CGE!
