Learning skills that can save a life is something worth celebrating. ❤️
Today, the Martin County School District and several schools were recognized with Hearts of Gold by the American Heart Association for making a meaningful impact through this year's Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge.
Together, more than 4,000 students and families learned about heart health, 41 students learned Hands-Only CPR and how to recognize the signs of a stroke, and more than $28,000 was raised to support lifesaving research and education.
A special shoutout to Bessey Creek Elementary School, Citrus Grove Elementary School, Crystal Lake Elementary School, Hobe Sound Elementary School, Palm City Elementary School, SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, and Warfield Elementary School for participating, and congratulations to our top impact schools:
