Students, artists, art educators and art philanthropists took center stage at the 20th Anniversary of the MartinArts Awards, held on Nov. 8, 2023, at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart.
Since 2003, the MartinArts Awards have been a signature event of MartinArts honoring outstanding artistic, voluntary, and philanthropic achievements in Martin County, which inspire a passion for and participation in the arts in our community.
Three Martin County School District students and a teacher were recognized for their outstanding achievements in the arts.
Congratulations to the following artists:
- Daphne Dalton, South Fork High School: Student Visual Artist Award
- Logan Jacobs, South Fork High School: Student Performing Artist Award
- Jazmine Cratty, Martin County High School: Student Literary Artist Award
- John Egan, Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School (Band Director): Excellence in Arts Education
