The Martin County School District kicked off the 2025-26 school year on August 11, 2025, with the kind of excitement that only the first day can bring.
From the โnerv-citedโ enthusiasm of Murray Middle School sixth grader Renesmee starting middle school for the very first time, to Stuart Middle School eighth grader Vito stepping into his final year surrounded by brand-new facilitiesโand every moment in betweenโstudents and staff returned to campuses ready to learn, grow and achieve.
This school year, students and staff are returning to an A-rated District with a clear mission: to sustain that โAโ rating. Another goal, Superintendent Michael Maine shared, is to ensure no schools earn below a โB.โ
As part of this yearโs theme of โunstoppable,โ the District is committed to an unrelenting pursuit of excellence, rooted in community, driven by opportunity, and preparing our future today.
โNot every A is created equal right, and in the Martin County School District, we're doing it right,โ Superintendent Michael Maine shared. โWe're providing opportunities for our students to grow and become the very best that they can they can be, and this is the school district to be a part of.โ
