In April, students from Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High, South Fork High and Clark Advanced Learning Center celebrated their graduation from the Martin Youth LEADERship program.
Through the Martin Youth LEADERship program, sophomores, juniors and seniors learn to develop and enhance their leadership skills.
They achieve this by immersing themselves in various aspects of their community, such as delving into Martin County history, exploring government structures, understanding business dynamics, embracing arts and culture, examining the criminal justice system, and appreciating the importance of environmental awareness.
Once the students complete their eight-month program, they know more about what being a leader means.
