MCSD students named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

Two Martin County High School seniors and one Jensen Beach High School senior have been named Semifinalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. The National Merit Scholarship Program is a renowned academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955.

Approximately 16,000 students were selected as semifinalists in this year's competition.

more than 15,000 are expected to advance to the Finalist level, and in February 2024 they will be notified of this designation. All National Merit Scholarship winners will be selected from this group of Finalists.
