The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced its Fall Academic Team Champions for the 2025 Season, and the Martin County School District is proud to share that its high schools came out on top in several sports. Jensen Beach High School (Girls Volleyball), Martin County High School (Boys Golf), and South Fork High School (Girls Swimming & Diving) each earned a Fall Academic Team Champion Award for finishing as the top team in their class. South Fork High School earned nine Top 10 finishes overall, while 17 MCSD teams were named among the state's top ten academic performers in their respective classes.
These achievements highlight the District’s continued commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics.
The FHSAA Academic Team Champion program celebrates excellence both in competition and in the classroom. This prestigious program recognizes teams across all FHSAA-sanctioned and recognized sports, awarding the title of Academic Team Champion in each classification. To be eligible, an athletic team must achieve a minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. These averages are then evaluated against other schools in the state with similar enrollment sizes, highlighting outstanding academic achievement alongside athletic commitment.
