As the 2026–2027 athletic season gets underway, the Martin County School District is sharing important information about admission and entry requirements for students attending sporting events.
Student Admission
Students receive free admission to athletic events at the school where they are currently enrolled when they present a valid school ID at the gate.
The exception is varsity football. Admission for varsity football games is:
$11 when purchased online
$12 when purchased with cash at the gate
This admission policy applies to all regular-season MCSD school sporting events. Due to the operational costs of varsity football games and financial support for various other sports, varsity football is the exception to free student admission.
A few important reminders for students attending athletic events:
All students must present a valid school ID to receive free admission. This applies to students of all grade levels.
Middle school students must be accompanied by an adult. Middle school students may not enter athletic events without a parent, guardian or other accompanying adult.
Backpacks and large bags are not permitted at athletic events.
Families are encouraged to plan accordingly and have students bring their valid school ID when attending games.
