JBHS drama instructor Michelle Hance has been given the opportunity to perform on stage while being trained by some talented professionals who are helping her improve her choreography and dance moves. She has been working hard each week, practicing her style, learning new techniques, and getting more comfortable performing.
Mrs. Hance explained in an interview that dancing takes a lot of leg strength, flexibility, and confidence, especially when performing in front of dozens of people. She has been rehearsing for the past few weeks and working on getting all of the techniques down. Through all of this hard work, she is also helping bring more awareness to what Healthy Start provides for families in need.

Mrs. Hance was nominated for Dancing with the Martin Stars by Father Christian of St. Mary's and MC Healthy Start, where she has been fundraising to help local expectant mothers in Martin County receive quality healthcare, regardless of their income or ability to pay.
