The Martin County School District is proud to celebrate more than 150 students from its three comprehensive high schools who earned national academic honors through the College Board's 2026 National Recognition Program.
Students from Martin County High School, Jensen Beach High School, and South Fork High School earned one or more distinctions through the program, which recognizes high-achieving students for their academic success and helps them stand out to colleges and scholarship programs.
This year's honorees earned recognition through three award categories: the First-Generation Recognition Award, Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award, and School Recognition Award.
To qualify, students in 10th and 11th grade must meet College Board academic criteria, including earning a cumulative GPA of B+ or higher and meet additional achievement requirements through Advanced Placement coursework or qualifying test performance.
These honors celebrate the hard work our students put into their education while opening doors to future college and scholarship opportunities. Their accomplishments are another example of what it means when Martin Means More.
