MCSD winners of the 2022 Pathfinder Awards

Congratulations to the five Martin County School District seniors who placed in the Palm Beach Post's 2022 Pathfinder Scholarship Awards.

The Palm Beach Post's Pathfinder Awards are presented each year to 54 of the best and brightest seniors in Martin and Palm Beach counties who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academic, vocational and athletic categories. One of the state's largest and most comprehensive high school scholarship programs, the Pathfinder Awards program grants nominees the honor of competing against their peers for more than $170,000 in college scholarships.

50 students were nominated from MCSD high schools alone.

Congratulations to the five students who were awarded scholarships:

  • Aidan Locke, Jensen Beach High School: 1st Place Reach for Excellence
  • Joseph Semrai, Martin County High School: 1st Place Computer Engineering
  • Kyle Ramos, South Fork High School: 2nd Place History/Political Science
  • Katie Vitale, Jensen Beach High School: 2nd Place Music/Vocal
  • Christopher Carnes, South Fork High School: 3rd Place Community Involvement
