Martin County High School

Richard exemplifies what it means to be an MCHS Tiger. Dedicated, passionate, and committed to the success of his students and his colleagues best describe Richie. As an educator, Richie has taken on an assortment of Advancement Placement and AICE programs with a willingness to learn and grow and push himself professionally. As a Debate coach, he has led the program by leaps and bounds traveling with students locally as well as all over the nation for Championship Competitions, earning recognition from the National Speech and Debate Association as a Diamond Coach. As an emerging leader, he has taken on leadership roles and officer positions in the Debate Community and hosted numerous tournaments right here at MCHS.  Instructionally, he has lead various Professional Learning sessions sharing engagement strategies that he uses in his class with a high level of success. His students love him and his colleagues know they can always count on him! We are fortunate to have Richard LoSardo, a MCHS Alumni, represent us as this year's Martin County High School Teacher of the Year!
