SFHS Senior Jesus Miguel-Diego Named 2021-2022 CTE Student of the Year

South Fork High School (SFHS) senior Jesus Miguel-Diego has been named the 2021-2022 Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Year.

Growing up in the Village of Indiantown, Jesus was excited to take advantage of the many CTE opportunities available to students at SFHS. He settled on the Building Construction and HVAC academies and admits his experiences in both programs have made him feel like he might have discovered his future career path.

"I never thought I would be in this class or would want to consider this as my major," he shared. "But when I came here, I saw the different things that we can do. I'm going to go to college and maybe go [into] the construction business."
