This afternoon, we are shining a spotlight on South Fork High School senior Brody Sheppard!
"Watching Brody grow into the young man he is today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life," proud mom Amy shared. "From the time he was a little boy, he has always worked hard, stood up for what is right, stayed humble, and never hesitated to help others. Those qualities have defined his character every step of the way. On and off the football field. I could not be more proud of all he has accomplished and the man he continues to become. His determination, kindness, and strength have inspired everyone around him, and we know this is only the beginning of an incredible journey."

During last week’s board meeting, the Martin County School Board and Superintendent Michael Maine proudly recognized FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics for an unforgettable season of innovation, teamwork, and achievement. 👏
The team earned Regional Championship titles in Orlando and South Florida, received multiple honors, including the Excellence in Engineering and Autonomous Awards, and finished as division finalists at the World Championship in Houston.
Even more impressive, the S.P.A.M. Robotics Class of 2026 became the winningest class in program history with 13 competition wins over four years!!
Students gifted School Board members and Superintendent Maine their very own SPAM cans while sharing how the District’s investment in the team’s state-of-the-art robotics facility has helped elevate their success on the world stage.
Congratulations to S.P.A.M. on another incredible season!

Today, students in South Fork High School’s Veterinary Assisting Program had the opportunity to visit Busch Wildlife Sanctuary for an up-close look at animal care, wildlife conservation, and rehabilitation.
From birds of prey and reptiles to native Florida wildlife, our students were able to connect what they are learning in the classroom to real-world animal care experiences. Opportunities like this help our future veterinary professionals build knowledge, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the animals and ecosystems around us.
A big thank you to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary for welcoming our Bulldogs and providing such a meaningful learning experience! ❤️🖤🐾

🎓❤️🖤 Congratulations to our AVID Class of 2026!
Over the past four years, our AVID seniors have shown what it means to work hard, stay focused, and prepare for success beyond high school. This year’s AVID class includes 53 seniors who have built the skills, confidence, and mindset needed for college, career, military service, apprenticeships, technical school, and beyond.
We are especially proud to share that the AVID Class of 2026 has earned an incredible $984,126 in local, state, and school-based scholarships! This class also includes the first two AVID seniors graduating with their AA degrees, four students who have qualified to graduate early, and the first AVID student entering the military.
A special congratulations to the 23 seniors who have been part of AVID for three or more years and will be recognized with an AVID stole and pin in honor of their commitment and dedication.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing AVID teachers, Jennifer Morreale and Shelley Tress-Turull, for the mentorship, encouragement, and support they provide to our students. Your impact is helping our Bulldogs take their next steps with confidence and pride.

Senior Check Out will take place tomorrow, May 13, during students’ scheduled Economics, Government, or Theory of Knowledge class. Teachers will escort their classes to the plaza to complete the checkout process. ✅
🚨 Senior Check Out is MANDATORY.
Seniors who do not complete Senior Check Out will NOT be permitted to participate in Graduation Practice.
⚠️ No Practice = No Ceremony.
📍 Students who do not have Economics, Government, or TOK must report to the plaza during their off block to complete the process.
🎓 If students have not yet picked up their cap & gown or graduation yard sign, they will also be available for pickup during Senior Check Out.
Please make arrangements accordingly and ensure all seniors complete checkout tomorrow. ❤️🖤
