South Fork High School will administer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Please note that no make-up date is available.
🔴 10th Grade: All students are automatically registered. No form or payment is required. The cost is covered by the State of Florida.
🔴 9th Grade: Registration is required. The cost is $18, payable by cash or check made out to SFHS. Students are not registered until payment is received.
🔴 11th Grade: Registration is required, but there is no cost. The cost is covered by MCSD.
🔴 12th Grade: College Board does not permit seniors to take the PSAT.

9th graders only: After completing the form, submit the $18 payment to the Testing Office in Building 2, Room 102 by the deadline. Cash or checks payable to SFHS are accepted.
♿ Students in grades 9 and 11 requesting testing accommodations must return the accommodations form sent by text by Thursday, August 27 so requests can be submitted in time for the October test.
Today, our South Fork High School community wore red and stood together to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. On this 25th anniversary, we remember the individuals whose lives were cut short, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of tragedy.
For our students, September 11 is a part of history they did not experience firsthand. As educators and a school community, we have a responsibility to help them understand its significance—both the profound loss and the compassion, service, and unity that brought people together in its aftermath.
This photo captures a simple but meaningful act of remembrance from our Bulldog family. May we honor those we lost through the kindness we show, the ways we serve, and the care we extend to one another.

Ms. Normalicia Fernand brings more than 20 years of combined experience in education, administration, and student support, including most recently teaching kindergarten and special education first grade.
🌎 Her love of languages, Spanish, and Hispanic cultures has shaped her passion for teaching. With a multilingual background in English, Spanish, German, and American Sign Language (ASL), she draws on her linguistic knowledge and personal language-learning experiences to help students build confidence and proficiency in Spanish.
💬 She believes learning a language opens doors to new experiences, connections, and opportunities, and she looks forward to helping her students discover what they can achieve through Spanish.

📋 HOMECOMING PACKETS ARE DUE TOMORROW!
The deadline for submitting Homecoming packets was extended to Wednesday, September 9.
🚨 TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 9, IS A HARD DEADLINE!
All required packets must be submitted to Student Services by the end of the school day tomorrow. No late packets will be accepted after this deadline.
🎟️ APPROVED STUDENTS — TICKET PURCHASE INFORMATION
Students who have been approved to attend the Homecoming Dance will begin receiving emails from Mrs. Bushman today, Tuesday, September 8.
📧 Emails will be sent to students’ school-issued email addresses and will include instructions for purchasing their Homecoming tickets.
Emails will be sent as packets are processed and approved, so students should continue checking their school email.
Questions or issues regarding ticket purchases should be directed to Mrs. Bushman at bushmaj@martinschools.org.
👤 BRINGING A NON-SFHS GUEST?
South Fork students bringing a non-SFHS guest to Homecoming must complete a Guest Packet.
The Guest Packet must include the required signature from the guest’s school or employer before it can be approved. Please do not wait until the last minute to complete this process!
💰 HAVE FEES OR OUTSTANDING OBLIGATIONS?
If your student received a notice stating that they are not yet approved to purchase a Homecoming ticket because of outstanding fees or obligations, there is still time to resolve the issue.
The final day to purchase a Homecoming ticket is Thursday, September 17, at midnight.
Students have more than a week after the packet deadline to work with the appropriate departments, resolve outstanding obligations and receive approval. We are here to work with our students and families throughout this process! ❤️🖤

Homecoming is right around the corner, Bulldogs! Students planning to attend the Homecoming Dance must complete a Dance Packet and receive approval before purchasing a ticket.
