Over the past four years, our AVID seniors have shown what it means to work hard, stay focused, and prepare for success beyond high school. This year’s AVID class includes 53 seniors who have built the skills, confidence, and mindset needed for college, career, military service, apprenticeships, technical school, and beyond.
We are especially proud to share that the AVID Class of 2026 has earned an incredible $984,126 in local, state, and school-based scholarships! This class also includes the first two AVID seniors graduating with their AA degrees, four students who have qualified to graduate early, and the first AVID student entering the military.
A special congratulations to the 23 seniors who have been part of AVID for three or more years and will be recognized with an AVID stole and pin in honor of their commitment and dedication.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing AVID teachers, Jennifer Morreale and Shelley Tress-Turull, for the mentorship, encouragement, and support they provide to our students. Your impact is helping our Bulldogs take their next steps with confidence and pride.
We are so proud of you, AVID Bulldogs! 🐾
Be More. Be A Bulldog.

Our Junior Varsity Team took 2nd place at the IRSC Math Olympics, and senior Leonard Marraffino also earned 2nd place in an individual competition! 🧮🏆
We are so proud of our Bulldogs for representing South Fork with hard work, teamwork, and excellence. Great job to all who competed! ❤️🖤

This evening, we are shining a spotlight on South Fork High School senior Madison Heath!
"We could not be more proud of Maddie as she finishes up her time at South Fork High School," proud dad Scott shared. "Her drive and determination towards success have been amazing to watch. She performed in Carillon choir, was a member of multiple clubs, organizations, the president of NHS, worked as a lifeguard, swim coach and circus coach and performed for Florida Aerial Dance and Circus Arts. She did all of this while pursuing the International Baccalaureate diploma. It's hard to believe she had time for anything else yet she still found time to enjoy some great friendships and attend all the big school events."
"She is heading to Florida State University to study Political Science and hopefully perform under the big top. Keep chasing your dreams, Maddie. We know you are going to change the world!"
Congratulations, Madison! 🎉 We are so very proud of you! 🎉
