A student at South Fork High School and proud member of the Hobe Sound Club, Mildred’s story is one of strength, perseverance, and purpose. She’s already earned herself a four-year college scholarship, gained work experience through the Club’s culinary team, and grown into a leader and role model for her peers. Mildred’s commitment to academics, service, and character earned her a spot among the top four Youth of the Year finalists in the entire state of Florida. We're shining a spotlight on South Fork High School senior TRIPLETS Madison, Tyler and Justin Summa! "Mom, Dad, grandparents, and the rest of the family are so proud to have been able to watch you graduate together and look forward to seeing what the future holds for each of you," proud mom Tara shared. "We love you very much." Tyler plans to attend Indian River State College to pursue his associate's degree in Business Management. He hopes to continue his studies in Sports Management once he completes his AA. Justin is employed full time at Alford Air Conditioning, Inc., where he recently completed his first three months. "Since I'm her uncle, I'm blessed to have known Nessa her entire life, since she was a wittle bitty baby," her proud uncle James shared. "Seems that she grew up overnight, and although she is a beautiful young lady now, I still see her as my goofy little niece with big ole glasses! Myself and my entire family couldn't be more proud of her, and I can't wait to see everything she accomplishes in life and cheer her on the whole way!!" 🧃☀️FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR STUDENTS🧃☀️ School may be out, but nutritious meals are still in! The Martin County School District will be serving free breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and under at select school sites starting Monday, June 2, 2025, with no income restrictions. Meal service dates and times will vary by location. Children must remain on location while they are eating their meals. Our Summer Feeding Bus is back as well! 🏆CHAMPS ON AND OFF THE FIELD🏆 Join us in congratulating our student-athletes who not only excelled on the field but also in the classroom! FHSAA released its Overall Academic Team rankings for the 24-25 school year, and we're proud to share that South Fork High School earned 🥇 Overall in Class 5A—their third consecutive year at the top! We’re also proud to celebrate: 🏆 Jensen Beach High School – 3rd place in Class 5A 🏆 Martin County High School – 11th place in Class 6A To qualify for this prestigious recognition, athletic teams must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA—proving that our student-athletes' commitment extend beyond game day. On top of that, each of our high schools earned at least one top-five finish in the 2025 Spring Academic Team Champion standings!
