🎨CELEBRATING ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE🎨
Several Martin County School District students were recently recognized for their creativity during Congressman Brian Mast's annual Congressional Art Competition ceremony for Florida’s 21st District.
This annual event shines a spotlight on student talent, offering young artists the opportunity to showcase their work, and even earn a place in a yearlong exhibit at the U.S. Capitol!
A big congratulations to Martin County High School student Jaime Lopes for earning 2nd place in the competition!
Congratulations also goes to MCHS students Brooklyn Kelly, Daniel Borovina, Reagan Tschudi, and South Fork High School student Olivia Tingley for earning an Honorable mention for their artwork!

"Cody has plans to start EMT classes then Fire School after," proud mom Jolene shared. "He wants to be a Martin County Fire Rescue firefighter. On his off days; he will still enjoy managing the 3 ranches he already manages and runs with the possibility of starting his own. Cody is a very hard worker and a God fearing man; with the heart of gold and a strength like no other. It will be great to see the wonders of his future."

"We are thrilled for Brett on choosing the University of Florida, where he’ll be majoring in Computer Engineering," proud parents Jeff and Nicole shared. "Brett’s incredible journey began at Palm City Elementary School, where he was surrounded by caring teachers and staff—and even had the special experience of his mom working right on campus. At Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School, he gained valuable skills and friendships that helped shape who he is today. It was at South Fork High School, through the International Baccalaureate program, where his passion for math and physics truly took off. Watching Brett grow, learn, and thrive throughout his K-12 years has been a true joy. We are so proud of the bright future ahead of him."

🎓SFHS SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🎓
We have a different kind of #MCSDSeniorStories to share this morning.
South Fork High School senior Brody Metzger has earned one of the nation’s most competitive honors—the prestigious U.S. Navy NROTC Scholarship!
A proud product of Martin County’s public schools—SeaWind Elementary, Murray Middle School and South Fork High—Brody’s hard work and leadership have paved the way for this remarkable achievement. The scholarship can cover up to $200,000 in college costs, including full tuition, fees, a monthly stipend, and a book allowance.
This scholarship is more than financial support. It's an opportunity setting Brody on a path to becoming a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy. He’ll receive leadership and management training while pursuing his studies at the University of Florida.
