๐ฃ **Good Morning Bulldog Families!** ๐พ
We want to keep you in the loop about some upcoming changes to our class structure at South Fork High School. To ensure we maintain efficient operations and stay within our budget, we'll be making a few schedule adjustments starting Tuesday, September 3rd.
**What You Need to Know:**
๐ **Schedule Adjustments:** Most changes will affect ELA and Reading classes with teachers Mr. Marques, Mrs. Keeler, Mrs. Dugas (Chase), and Ms. Ballard. There may also be some period shifts for other classes to align with best practices for class sizes.
๐ฉโ๐ซ **What to Expect:** Your child might see a change in their ELA or Reading teacher or class period. Weโll be visiting classrooms today to discuss these changes with impacted students.
**Our Commitment to Excellence:**
We understand that change can be challenging, but please rest assured that our dedication to high-quality instruction and a supportive learning environment remains unchanged. These adjustments are aimed at supporting our districtโs financial health while continuing to provide an outstanding educational experience.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to me or your studentโs counselor.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
With Appreciation,
Jaime Thompson

#BackToSchool #BulldogPride #SchoolUpdates #NewYearNewGoals
๐ฃ Attention Bulldog Staff and Families! ๐ฃ
Weโre excited to share some important updates about school supplies for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. As many of you know, our school district has generously offered funding support to help ensure all students are equipped with the essentials they need. Hereโs a quick breakdown to clear up any confusion:
๐ธ Each high school has been given $5000 to cover the basics like pens, pencils, folders, and paper. If we need more, we can request additional funds.
๐ฆ Weโve already placed supply orders for essential items like markers, copy paper, and highlighters that are in addition to district funding. These were ordered over the summer to be ready for the school year.
๐ Weโre grateful for the generous donations from our business partners, which means we already have many supplies on hand.
๐ซ With 100 teachers, itโs challenging to predict exact needs for each class. Therefore, weโve prepared starter supplies for every classroom to cover basic needs.
๐ While weโre thrilled about the extra district support, rest assured that weโve always made sure students have what they need to succeed.
๐ Please note that the funding does not cover backpacks, calculators, lab fees, or specialty supplies for career technical or art courses.
๐ Teachers might still provide a โwish listโ of additional items that are not covered by this funding.
๐ Once the school year is underway, weโll re-evaluate and purchase more supplies as needed.
South Fork High School, in partnership with the Martin County School District, is committed to making sure every staff member and student has what they need for a successful school year. We hope this message helps clarify things!
Letโs make the 24-25 school year the best one yet! Go Bulldogs! ๐ถ๐ช
๐จ๐พ New Bulldog Alert! Mr. Chris Hawley is going our staff full time in the ESE department! He may be familiar as he is the head coach for the boys soccer team. He says "I am originally from Coral Springs where I worked and coached Boyโs Soccer/Track & Field at Broward County Schools for over a decade. I joined the South Fork High family last year as the Head Coach for Boyโs JV/Varsity Soccer. I am looking forward to working within the ESE department and helping students grow." We are excited to have you as a full time Bulldog! ๐พ
