๐ถ๐ Congratulations to the South Fork Spirit and Pride Bands!

๐บ Concert Band earned 2 Excellents and 1 Superior, for an overall rating of Excellent.
๐ฅ Symphonic Band earned Straight Superiors, the highest rating possible! Even more impressive, South Fork was the only high school in the county to receive Straight Superiors.
This marks an exciting step forward for the program in its first year under the direction of Osman Hance and Assistant Director Rachel Terlizzi. The future is bright for the South Fork band program! ๐ต๐

๐ฆ Hands-On Learning in Marine Science!
Yesterday, students in Mrs. Inostroza and Mrs. Montigneyโs Marine Science classes took part in an exciting shark dissection lab!
This hands-on activity gave students the opportunity to explore shark anatomy up close and learn how each organ helps these incredible ocean predators survive. Labs like this help bring marine biology to life and deepen student understanding of ocean ecosystems.
Great job to our Marine Science students for their curiosity and teamwork during this engaging lab experience! ๐๐ฌ

Congratulations to our SFHS February Staff Member of the Month, Coach Flynn! ๐๐
Coach Flynn reminds his basketball players that talent on the court means nothing if grades and behavior in the classroom arenโt a priority. He consistently reinforces that being a true student-athlete starts with accountability, responsibility, and doing the right thingโeven when no one is watching.
You can see his impact in the way his players carry themselves across campusโwith respect, integrity, and pride. Coach Flynn doesnโt just talk about characterโhe models it every single day. He holds himself to the same high standards he sets for his team and never hesitates to step in and support students whenever needed.
Thank you, Coach Flynn, for leading by example and for making a lasting difference at SFHS! ๐โค๏ธ
