Families- Our school was placed under a brief lockout today due to law enforcement activity in the area near our school. The lockout has since been lifted and learning is continuing as planned. All students and staff are safe. Thank you for your continued support of our school.

๐DISTRICT SETS DATES FOR STUDENTS TO RECEIVE REQUIRED FIRST AID, CPR INSTRUCTION๐
A law passed earlier this year requires Florida school districts to provide 9th and 11th graders with basic training in first aid, including CPR instruction.
The District has adopted a training schedule to ensure all freshmen and juniors receive the required instruction.

This past week we hosted a community event "Pastries with the Principal" where Mr. Blavitt invited community members and parents to our school for an informal look into South Fork with the opportunity to ask questions.
National Spanish Honor Society had their induction ceremony on Nov. 18th. These newly inducted members will start planning community outreach activities and continue spreading their love for the Spanish language in our community this December. Congratulations new members!
The IB program at South Fork is one of a kind. Seniors in the program mentor Junior students with an official pinning ceremony to show their dedication and mentorship within the IB program.
