❤️🤍CANDY CANE WONDERLAND❤️🤍 Martin County School District Board Member Jennifer Russell, District 3, recently took a stroll through Candy Cane Wonderland (a.k.a. Warfield Elementary School). She toured through jolly classrooms and was read to while eating lunch with first graders. Ms. Russell left some treats of her own...mini candy canes and motivational notes around campus for students and staff! It was a pretty tasty and educational visit ❤️🤍 #ALLINMartin👊

🚒COMMUNITY HEROES🚒 First grade students at Warfield Elementary School are working on the Benchmark unit: Being a Good Community Member. For their lesson, "Firefighters to the Rescue," students met the very people they were reading about! Shout out to the Martin County Fire Rescue of Indiantown for teaching students about the gear they wear, what to do in case of a fire and how to stop, drop, and roll. Students also toured three of the different vehicles used by MCFR, and learned about the important equipment inside each vehicle, like the jaws of life! Students now better understand why people get involved in their community, and they had a blast learning about it! #ALLINMartin👊 #MCSDTheRippleEffect

🍎BEHIND THE SCENES🍎 Students at Warfield Elementary School took a tour behind the scenes of their school kitchen with Ms. Miriam Weaver, Food Service Manager. Serving more than 1,000 meals daily takes a lot of storage space and cooking equipment! Thank you to all of our amazing Food & Nutrition Services employees for fueling our students’ bodies with nutrition! #ALLINMartin👊 #MCSDTheRippleEffect #PublicSchoolProud

"We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause." - Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States of America #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud #VeteransDay
