Tomorrow marks 23 years since the United States was attacked by al-Qaeda terrorists. A lot has changed since then, yet with any devastating historical events, we should remember the fallen. We should also take pride in the heroism and coming together of a nation that took place to save lives, rebuild lives, and move forward.
Please join me Tomorrow Wednesday, September 11th by wearing Red
. Please join us as we remember this day and celebrate our nation's courage and determination to protect each other and our way of life.

📚BOOK CLUB📚
It's National Read a Book Day and Willoughby Learning Center is celebrating by launching a new book club for students and staff!
Willoughby Learning Center’s Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Meder, started this brand-new club-- an excellent way to build relationships and increase literacy!
We love to see it! 📚💚🧡🦆

🏈ATTENTION SPORTS FANS🏈
MCSD Families: To ensure a safe environment at our sporting events, all middle school students must be accompanied by an adult. Middle school students who attempt to gain entry to a sporting event without an adult will be denied and their parent will be required to come pick them up.
ℹ️ Additionally, all student attendees, regardless of age/school, must present a valid school ID to gain entry to events. Remember, students can enjoy discounted ticket prices with their school ID!
Thank you for your support of our high schools' athletics and for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Hello WLC Family,
Our students, take three progress monitoring (PM) assessments throughout the school year. The first one, PM1, will start to take place the week of August 26th. It is crucial that your child try their very best on this first assessment. It is an adaptive test and becomes more difficult to move levels if students do not perform at their optimum. Please speak with your child and give them a lot of encouragement. We will speak with them as well beforehand to answer any questions they may have. Thank you.

🍎CURRICULUM NIGHTS🍎
Mark your calendars! Starting next week, our elementary, middle, and high schools will host Curriculum Nights.
This is a great chance to meet your child’s teacher(s) and discover more about the exciting academic path planned for this year.

🚌 BUS TRACKING APP 🚌
Attention MCSD families! Bus tracking codes for the new MyReaXiumApp continue to be sent this afternoon. If you have been waiting on a code for your family, please be on the lookout for an email from do-not-reply@reaxium.com with the subject line, "You have been invited to the MyReaXiumApp!" and be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you are unable to locate it.
If your child is a new bus rider this year, your MyReaXiumApp will begin to display real-time GPS information for your child once they have swiped their ID card onto the bus for the first time.
