Summer camp looks a little different at the gem of the Martin County School District, the Environmental Studies Center, where students are spending their days exploring local waterways, learning about marine life and experiencing Florida’s natural environment firsthand.
Through hands-on activities and outdoor adventures, students have opportunities to discover the ecosystems that make Martin County unique while building friendships and creating lasting memories. Whether they’re riding on a boat, observing wildlife or cooling off in the water after a day of exploration, each experience helps bring environmental education to life.
Located near the Indian River Lagoon, the Environmental Studies Center provides students with hands-on learning experiences that connect them to the region’s diverse ecosystems and natural resources.
