In an effort to address staffing challenges and retain highly-qualified support personnel, the Martin County School Board has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local #597 to provide bonuses to all bargaining unit-eligible members who earn perfect attendance each month. Eligible employees who attend work on time and work their entire duty day for each scheduled work day during a given calendar month will be rewarded with a $10/work day bonus for each month of perfect attendance.

The monthly perfect attendance bonus eligibility period took effect on August 10, 2022, and will remain in effect through June 30, 2023

The District is currently hiring for a variety of positions that are eligible for the perfect attendance bonus.
