The Elementary STEM Fair is open to all Martin County students enrolled in grades K-5. All projects must be completed by March 22.

Supt. Millay attended a learning walk at Pinewood Elementary where he and staff had the opportunity to observe teaching and learning. He saw lots of great instruction with an emphasis on reading. Dr. Millay is proud of our students and teachers for continuing their hard work in the days leading up to Winter Break.

The District held the 56th annual Lillian A. Dassori Elementary Spelling Bee today.Outstanding spellers from each elementary school participated in the competition via Zoom, tackling the spelling of words such as "incendiary," "hexagonal," "impudent,โ โabracadabra,โ and โorthographize." The winning word was "equator."

On December 9, 2021, the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced its Fall Academic Team Champions of the 2021 season. Each Martin County high school earned a top-ten finish in more than one sport. Twelve MCSD teams, including all three football teams, were named among the state's top five academic performers in their respective classes!

โ๏ธ WINTER AROUND THE WORLD โ๏ธ
Port Salerno Elementary Schoolโs Sing-Ray Chorus performed its โWinter Around the Worldโ holiday concert this evening. The event was a celebration of holiday classics that allowed students to showcase the many different cultural celebrations that make us unique.
School Board Chair Christia Li Roberts (District 1) and School Board Vice Chair Tony Anderson (District 4) joined many delighted parents and community members for this joyous evening of student performances. Kudos to Music Director Joanna Rubiera for organizing and leading the fun!

As part of the Martin County School Districtโs commitment to providing exemplary service to our students and their families, technical support for studentsโ District-issued devices has been transitioned from the District Office to each school campus.
Families in need of hardware or software support for District-issued devices should contact their childโs school for assistance. Educational Technology staff assigned to each campus will perform necessary repairs or issue replacements of devices/chargers.

The Education Foundation of Martin County visited Martin County High School today to present a $10,000 grant that will be used to purchase supplies and materials for the school's new Forensic Science courses.

Students tackled the spelling of words such as "invertebrate," "bravado," cerebellum,โ โpreposterous,โ and โdemonstrable." The winning word was "subconscious."
