This afternoon, we are shining a spotlight on Jensen Beach High School senior Alexa Voglio!
"Alexa's time at Palm City Elementary School (VPK), Citrus Grove Elementary School (K-5th), Hidden Oaks Middle School & Jensen Beach High School has truly flown," proud mom Danette shared. "With hard work, perseverance and determination, she excelled academically taking AP and Dual Enrollment classes. Participating in a wide range of academic and extracurricular organizations, she served as Treasurer of the National English Honor Society, Co-Founder and Co-President of Rho Kappa, and was a member of the National Honor Society, Math, Science, Spanish, and Thespian Honor Societies, as well as the Student Government Association."
"Alexa would like to thank three teachers who have had a meaningful impact on her life: Natalie Martin (2nd and 3rd grades), Brook Duchene (Pre-Ap English I & National Honor Society) & Samantha Parkhurst (AP US History and SGA). You will always hold a special place in her heart. We are immensely proud of Alexa as she begins the next chapter of her life at the University of Miami, Miami Herbert Business School. The Hurricanes are lucky to have you Lex. Always reach for the stars, continue to shine, and be true to yourself. We love you so very much, Momma, Poppa, Nick and Lulu."
Congratulations, Alexa! We are so very proud of you! 🎉🎓
