⛵️CARDBOARD BOAT RACES⛵️ The 8th Annual Cardboard Boat Races took over the Martin County High School pool today—and yes, there were boats that floated… and boats that absolutely did not. 😂🌊 This year was extra fun with middle school joining for the first time! 🏆 Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School swept the speed awards in middle school and also took home Most Spirited Team! 🏆 Crystal Lake Elementary School dominated the elementary speed awards, while Bessey Creek Elementary School brought the spirit and earned Most Spirited Team! Come cheer on Bessey Creek Elementary as our incredible team takes on the challenge with their one-of-a-kind gator-themed cardboard boat 🐊💚 This amazing creation was built by three hardworking 5th graders, alongside School Resource Officer Deputy Mills and Mrs. Kepich, our media specialist—we are so proud of their teamwork and dedication! Extended Day summer programs are open to all students who will be enrolled in grades K-5 at a District-operated school NEXT year. Programs will be held Monday - Friday beginning June 1 and running through July 24. Registration will be held online through FOCUS.
