Citrus Grove Elementary is gearing up to start accepting donations of non-perishable canned or boxed foods to play along with the upcoming football championship game.
Letโs use this huge sporting event to fight hunger in our community.
Bring in a canned/boxed food item (or more) and students will earn โpointsโ for their favorite football team โ Cincinnati Bengals or Los Angeles Rams.
Letโs see if our points predict the real winner! Food will be donated to a local food bank.

Celebrate Literacy Week begins this Monday! This state program encourages schools and classrooms across Florida to raise awareness about the importance of reading. We hope to inspire our CGE students to enjoy literacy by providing fun, educational activities during the school day and for family time at home. Students are encouraged to participate, and all activities are free, but joining in on the fun is optional. Visit the CGE website for more information and activities! https://www.martinschools.org/o/cges/page/literacy-week

Second quarter report cards will be posted today, January 18.
